What works for me in finding good plays

My prior post was about "Not posting info on good plays".

Just thought I ought to be constructive (without giving away the farm) about
how people can find good plays on their own.

--Use the internet & newsgroups like this.

--Network:

    ++ with other players
    ++ with casino personnel
       
--Read:

    ++ publications like LVA, Casino Player, Strictly Slots
    ++ slot club literature

--Make the slot club your first stop & ask about promotions.

--Walk the casino floor & look at as much as you can. It's surprising how
often you find changes in machines that you've looked over a dozen times before.

If you have benefited with the help of others, remember to scratch their
backs too.

I just returned home from a vacation in SF and Lake Tahoe that had little 'good plays' but was loaded with 'Good Play' because I won, and I found a bottle of very rare single malt Scotch to take home. So while I'm wondering like many about where those dollar FPDW games are (even though I'd never waste my time on them) I have to ask why all the secrecy. Most people don't have the theoretical bankroll to properly play them anyway. And that's exactly why I've been trying to convince Tuscany to load up on them. The wishers will pop in right away, most will lose all their bankroll and then some, and the casino will make profits upon profits. And having Jean Scott make the final call on spilling the beans? If you want the world to know, just tell any woman you've got a secret. The reason people kill 'good plays' is because casinos want loyal customers to come in, rain or shine. I know more casinos that have been hurt by negative EV games than positive ones. Nudge, you may have to do a Bill Clinton to figure this one out, but most negative EV games have giant winners that just pop up to dumb as well as skilled players--and that's what hurts.

Wrong. Suppose 100 people play with bankrolls that offer them
a 50% chance of busting out. After these 50 bust out, the
casino will have their money, but the other 50 folks will have
made money that covers that money and then some

Tbe pool of players is all one big bankroll as far as the
casino is concerned. Busting out a lot of players
does not suddenly give the casino an advantage when it has
none.

At least he is consistant.
