What Will Happen To vpFREE

I believe that the original poster meant that he plays much less than Jean
does, and therefore his "long term" would take years longer for him to "get
to." I don't think it had anything to do with respective ages.

Geesh, maybe I better go out and buy a cemetery plot!!! Except I am
giving my body to science so I won't need one. However, my plan now is that
when science finally gets my body, about the only thing left that's not too
worn out to study will be wrinkles.

Perhaps not. However, I think people would be surprised at how few hours I spend at a VP machine - averaging only about 9-10 a week. I don't keep track of other activities connected with gambling but I probably spend 2-3 times that much time collecting BB and car time to get there, planning and figuring where to go and when and what to play, keeping records of our play, and giving instructions to Brad when he goes out alone a lot to pick up BB and do some required play. (He plays a few hours more a week than I do and spends a lot more time on the road than I do, collecting FP for the both of us and playing it off.)

Of course, all this doesn't count the time I spend writing about gambling - for Frugal Fridays, for books I'm always working on, for never-ending posts to individuals and to Internet forums - and for light-weight (and probably unnecessary) posts like this one.

I think I just realized why I never can get to bed before midnight!

I would like to add a comment about Queen Jean:
A few weeks ago I had a question regarding video poker. I
emailed Jean Scott thinking that I probably wouldn't hear back from
her since we've never met or corresponded. To my amazement, about an
hour later she had responded with some excellent suggestions. We
probably exchanged 5 or 6 emails until the issue was resolved.
Jean could not have been more gracious or helpful to a complete
stranger.
I am just amazed that someone as busy, productive, and famous
(at least in the casino world) as Jean would use any of her valuable
time to answer individual posts. Anyway, a public thanks to Jean
Scott for her assistance which I greatly appreciated.

Not so suprising after all you and Brad are a team so you add both
hours of play together. I've noticed how common it is for the husband
to gamble longer hours than the wife. Unless of course you keep all
of your money completely seperate and spend 5 minutes after each
dinner fighting over who will pick up the tip. In that case you only
get credit for the 9 hours, heehee. I was in Wendover one time and
the couple in booth next to me spent a full 5 minutes arguing over
who's turn it was to pick up the tip. I was fascinated to observe
that they were both wearing wedding rings so presumably they are both
(unhappily) married to each other.
