Kobes performance was simply amazing! I watch evrey Laker game on
FSN West and needless to say Im a huge Laker fan. Kobe's 81 pt. effort
prompted me to think of my personal best day playing vp. 3 times I hit
2 royals in the same playing session. But I personally enjoyed the
time I nailed 7 sets of deuces in 8 hours. Evreyone who plays plenty
of vp knows most sessions come up empty, sometimes a very expensive
empty! But it would be fun to hear about those rare times where you
just couldnt do anything wrong. what was your 'Kobe 81 pt' VP
performance? Perhaps you witnessed someone near you hit quad A's w/
kicker twice, then a royal on a 8/5 DDB while you toiled away on a
adjacent FPDW! (Happened to me at Fiesta! I was having one of those
lost 300 and no dueces days to boot!).

OK, this one is from Lucky Lucy, one of the days she earned her
nickname. She was playing 25 cent 5-play NSUD at Ameristar, KC, when
she got the four ducks on the initial draw. Five sets of deuces all
at the same time earns a W-2G. The casino personnel re-set the
machine and went off to do the paperwork and get her money. Before
they got back, she hit a royal for another $1K.

Funny enough, our best sessions were on those same machines on our
last 2 trips to KC. On the second to last trip, We hit a total of 8
royals between us in 2 days of playing, and I hit ducks nearly 20
times. My wife hit 3 of her royals within the span of about 2
hours. I connected for 2 royals at once on a 1 card draw to a royal
as well. The last trip, I hit 1 royal and my wife connected for 7,
including getting dealt a royal after having already hit 2, with the
credits still in the machine. Again, this was a 2 day playing
session. Needless to say, both trips for us were very profitable for
us, however according to the database, these machines are now
downgraded and we are finding it hard to justify the flight to KC,
even though we are full RFB with limo & a beautiful jacuzzi suite on
every trip. We have also been treated to KC Chief's games & Royal's
games as well.
