what to do about annoying casino practices

I wrote about some annoying casino practices yesterday. Today I'll mention
some concrete things you can do if that happens to you. It may not help, but
at least you can get it off your chest.

Bad hosts - write the casino and request a new host.

Harrah's problems - send an email to President Gary Loveman,
_talktogary@harrahs.com_ (mailto:talktog…@…com)

Generally - write a letter to higher management and complain.

Palms - write to George Maloof, he sometimes will phone you back!

Generally - write to the Nevada or other casino control commission about
problems with coupons, slot machines, or other possibly illegal or erroneous
acts. (Nevada Casino Control Commission, 555 East Washington Ave., Suite 2600,
Las Vegas, NV 89101).

Fill out comment cards.

Generally speaking a written letter is better than a phone call. Send
copies of your letter to several people.

Walk away - when the casino annoys you, walk across the street to another
casino, and let management know that you did it! Yesterday I walked from Palms
to the Gold Coast when Palms refused to honor that Four of a Kind coupon.
Inside the GC I hit a royal flush! And I got 5x points for my play there.
Had I stayed at the Palms undoubtedly they would have won money from me as I
played bad double double bonus!

Play at other casinos that are less annoying. Unfortunately it seems that
if one casino annoys you today, tomorrow another one will, and so on, until
you may end up back as casino number one some day! But at least you get the
temporary satisfaction of giving your money to a less annoying place!

What reason did they give you?
