I've read a couple of posts mentioned Optimum Play machines. What are
they?
What is "Optimum Play" machines?
are they?
Found mostly in Station Casinos, the glass on top has this special
logo that looks like a certified award (similar to the
Stratosphere's 'certified over 100%'). It just says Optimum Play
certified or somesuch. The machines are slanttop or upright, and
usually IGT Multi-games (more than one game to choose from).
Some are multi-denominational, most are at least .25c.
Games are usually good (like FPDW, 10/6 DDB, Loose Deuces, 10/7 DB,
or Joker Poker).
Optimum play - meaning the machines have optimum games on them.
NOTE: All of these machines have an additional sign and/or sticker
on them telling you that it now takes $2 per pt. earned now, instead
of $1/pt.

Don't they also have a picture of Dan Paymar holding a copy of his
book on the glass? No wait. I guess I was thinking about those
machines with the picture of another VP guru on them. <g>
