I have joined the new group and am only getting about 3 or 4 messages a day.
It is either a very slow time for posts or there is still a problem...

Why wouldn't everyone first ask this of the guy who cashes your membership checks?
Honest question, not being a wise guy.
Did he take the money & run? OK this 2nd question I'm joking....
I DO note a tinge of irony that you go to the Free site to find out where to find the Pay
site. OK, back to our regular scheduled witty banter......

As most anyone who has participated in these boards for longer than
fifteen minutes knows, Skip Hughes and Lodestone started them. And,
frequently, you get what you pay for.
In any case, I would be very appreciative if someone would post the
schedule you mentionned.

The person that asked the original question is not a paid vphomepage
member. He is an original vpmail member (from when we started in
1997) who has complimentary access to vpmail2.

HA HA!

* site.
The directions to resubscribe are (and have been since this
happened) in large red letters at the top of the front page of
vphomepage.com. I sent three notes plus a Yahoo groups invite to
every subscriber. I posted the information on the lodestone group,
and I have responded to every inquiry with a Yahoo groups invite or
directions.
What I didn't do was post the address of the group here, because I
didn't want to have to wade through a bunch of pending memberships
while I am trying to get the rest of the subscribers back in.
Unfortunately, that is exactly what I am faced with now. Not a big
deal, and as a matter of fact....
As noted by others, the vphomepage groups have been private groups,
only available to vphomepage subscribers. However, vphomepage is
going to be changing radically in the coming months* and this policy
will change. Because of that, I am considering opening vpmail2 now
to the public with some restrictions.
* I will follow this up with some details a little later.

And, frequently, you get what you pay for.
And then, on very rare occasions, you get much, much more than you
pay for...such as VPFree.
It's about time someone piped in, "Lighten up" or "Can't we all get along?" or some
other drivel. Actually chief, I had no idea Skip started out vpFree or vpHeaven or
whatever "board" you mean. I been here two years and never heard this factoid. INT-
erest-ink. I'm sure pro's, semi-pro's and hoardes of wanna-bes have truly gotten
their money's worth from the subscriptions. No dig there.
Oh and to all the smoke-haters: maybe those little battery operated fans have
clamps or suction cups to attach to your favorite machine to blow the 2nd-hand
smoke away. Somebody who need to make some profit to gamble with could market
these.
Another reason I prefer Reno - lot more room in the casino to "Spread Out".
