What games to learn

Recently, through practice, I have become quite accurate playing
9/6 JoB. I am also learning 15/9/5 Deuces Wild, but have a little
more practice to do on this game. I am doing my practice play using
Frugal VP. My question is what would be the next best game to study
and practice? Would it be a VP game with strategies most similar to
JoB, or rather some other positive game variation that one is more
likely to find available in Vegas or Laughlin? Thank you for the
help on other questions I have posted.

I would suggest that you try a few other games and see what type of game suits your tastes. For example, some people like the high volatility of Double Double Bonus poker, and it can be found in a positive version 10/6, and is fairly common in the better off strip locations. Some people like Pick-Em which is virtually a break even game with low volatility, which can be found on and off the strip, and is extremely easy to master. Other good games are Jokers Wild and All American, good pay back on both of these, but they are difficult and harder to find. Since you already know jacks or better you are also covered for 8/5 bonus poker which is the same strategy and is often the best game that you will find at strip casinos. If you really like deuces , you should learn NSUD - 16/10/4/4/3/2/1 deuces wild, it is a widely available version of deuces wild.

If you're interested in long term returns, there's little value to learning games that aren't available to you. If high payout games that are a variation of JoB (i.e., the "bonus" games) are available to you, that's your next logical game(s) to learn. Otherwise, I think you should figure out what the next highest payout game is in your area and learn it, even if it's not similar to JoB.

If you're mostly interested in having fun, then you should learn whatever game is most enjoyable. A lot of people really like the wild card games. If you've never tried practicing/playing Dueces or Joker's Wild, go for it.
