These are pseudo NSUD at 98.91%, which are also Illinois deuces and airport
deuces. I think that the pNSUD designation came from a Bob Dancer article
from some years ago, as the two names that we had were apparently not
enough. Of course, in a couple of years the new designation for them will
be FPDW.

I dont care for that term at all. The great Skip had years previously coined these as UD's or ugly ducks. When the pay schedule was bumped up on the SF and 5-Kind, he renamed the new version - NSUD or Not So Ugly Ducks.

i already find myself referring to NSUD as "full pay". this makes
people i'm talking to either very confused or very excited until they
realize that i'm not actually talking about FPDW.
but then, i started playing video poker too late to experience deuces
wild paying five for quads as anything but a curiosity relegated to a
few slowed-down quarters machines. the first time i saw FPDW, i didn't
notice the 5 for quads, i just saw the 3/2/2/1 on the bottom lines and
thought it was some godawful sub-97% ripoff paytable. i went to play
10/7 double bonus instead.

I prefer Ugly Ducks myself. Someone needs to develop an Ultimate X hand analyzer app for the iPhone lol. The ER of mentioned program is something in the 99.45 range. I'm sure someone knows the exact ER.
