ready to hit." They respond with, "Oh, you think so huh?" I told it one time and
in the first few hands a lady hit the Deuces. Another time I was playing
alone at a seven machine bank when a young, [let me emphasize young because I'm
old] beautiful off duty cocktail waitress type gal sat right next to me. I
told the joke, no laugh and no immediate big hand was hit but she struck up a
convo telling in a round about way I was playing on HER lucky machine. So much
for her being attracted to old guys who wear worn out WalMart shoes. We
talked more and more, becoming engrossed in my BS when she suddenly noticed her
credits reflected a Royal Flush. And, It was not on her lucky machine. I tried
to think back to which exact moment on my machine that she hit, must have
been the hand I missed holding two Deuces and ended up with a final hand of one
Deuce and nothing else.

So the moral of the story is that women who
hang out with you get lucky and don't even
notice?

Hey JT, are you the older gentleman who I observed, at the El Cortez,
coaching his lady friend (wife?) while she was playing Downtown Deuces?

She was dealt 3 ducks and an ace, small card. He immediately told her
to hold the 3 deuces with ace, "since 5 aces was the best hand to go
for, and would be better than the dealt straight!" He was right! She
bought the 4th duck anyway!
