I have seen one a site that Bally's and Caesars having these. My
understnding that their system is base(tier) plus bonus = total reward
credits, so for comp purposes a base and bonus point were the same.
Only the base counted for tier status though, so I consider going the
other way and turning bonuns into a base or tier point, but could
someone explain the benefits of this promo?

I have been playing at Caesars this year and still have not figured
out their system. My understanding is that while playing, you earn
base credits. Then some sort of arbitrary system adds so-called bonus
credits. Separate from that is the so-called tier score, which is used
to upgrade your status (gold-platium-diamond, etc).
