What are odds of this ?? - Consecutive Deal "Anamolie

I'm in the same boat as Babe, Brian(s), Grump and others.

We know the odds are over 1 in 2.5 million of getting any specific card combo prior to the deal (52 card deck--longer odds with one or more jokers).

It's fun, however, to recount tales of woe or joy after the fact--why else would we want to see all the archived pictures?

Sometimes people exaggerate a bit when recounting what happened to somebody else. Not long ago I had a royal in diamonds, played it off and had a second royal in diamonds. There was one hand in between the two royals, but next time I was in the casino people were saying--"there she is back-to-back royals in the same suit!"

Really do love the stories though. Linda

Me too.

For that matter, I like to tell "big fish" stories. I think you can
still get away with one of those without magnifying glass scrutiny.

Recently, the lady playing next to me grabbed my shoulder and said:
Oh no, I doubled down by mistake on a Royal Flush. I thought you poor
lady, thats a thousand dollars lost. The machine gave itself a Seven
and she drew an Ace. I looked at the machine and it said you have
24,000 credits, do you want to double for 48,000. It was a dealt
Royal in triple play. She went from 3K to 6K by mistake.

The best part of the story was a week later, on my next visit, when
the same machine dealt me a Royal in Triple Play. Allen
