Westin Update

<<<<<And in
his words they weren't spending any money, either. >>>>>

That would be bartender talk for not tipping $5 per drink and $100 per handpay to show "appreciation" for their service. It's unfortunate when casinos chose to place their best machines at bars. Pros always get blamed for killing the play by not greasing the bartender's palm to prolong the play and to a large extent this is true. However much like asking pros not to play two machines at once and not to play good machines for extended periods of time, these requests will fall on deaf ears.

I choose not to play dollars at the Westin due to the machine location only at the bar. I couldn't understand why they didn't have the same paytables on the floor as at the bar. I guess now unfortunately they do.

My guess is that at the bar, where a player can get a little too much
to drink (sometimes or most of the times) and possibly loose
concentration from proper/perfect strategy, the casinos are not afraid
of offering good paytables. Of course, those good basketball,
baseball, football games being played right in front surely do not
affect one's concentration while playing vp.

And if one does not give good tips, the bartender(s) never put anything
extra in your drinks, right? :> never
