Any feedback on the Westgate? Anything from rooms to restaurants. Promotions to comps to vp. I'm starting almost from scratch here. I haven't been to the old LVH in maybe 10 years. AA and PE was alive and well at the time. The marketing gods have me considering a reunion.

The vp was still good for job last time I was there. Feb. They do have a resort fee!

I was in your position with respect to not having been to the LV Hilton since the days of AA video poker. Then I got a mailer from them last fall with 6 monthly offers of $250 freeplay and some other extras (golf I think, but I am not a golfer). I stayed in February for one night (even though I booked for 2 since that was the minimum but I didn't have time for 2 nights there). Room was quite nice and very spacious (not sure if it was a standard room or something bigger) but it had been years since I was in a strip or strip like property so maybe I was easily impressed.
They have a decent selection of FPVP. I found the drink service on the floor to be spotty. The only meal I had was at the sportsbook deli which was neither terrible nor memorable.
I am returning in late April and just booked another 2 night stay from the same mailer. This time I will give them the full 2 days and so will see what offers may come from my $0.25 VP play, maybe $10K/day coin in.

Yes, Peter, pretty similar to my situation, though my offer was a one off. They reached their arm deep into that marketing drum going back a lot of years to pull my name out.
