Okay Joker players: I spotted new slant tops at Main Street Station
last week with a variation of Joker Poker I've never seen. 5 coin
Royal Flush, no joker, pays 500 and 5OAK pays 4000 coins. I have the
rest of the paytable somewhere in my notes if anyone wants to
calculate the ER, or has it been done already?

Visiting 5-card's site will find a couple of two pair joker paytables that
meet your criteria:

Isn't this kind of Jokers found in A/C?

I agree that 5-Card's site is one of the most useful ones for the VP player. I use it all the time.

I do have one main question. He has a lot of paytables for Double Joker, but I am interested in which ones are actually still in a casino somewhere at the present time. It seems like it is a disappearing game. I would really appreciate it if someone can verify that some of the paytables in 5-Card's chart for Double Joker exist on a casino floor.

Actually I have the same question for Joker Poker (2 pair), both the Atlantic City version and the "regular" one. Which paytables still exist in a casino somewhere?

Speaking of games that have died out does anyone know where there is
any FP SW? I love shockwave, it's really fun, but to knowledge
there isn't any FP left.

Isn't the FP version regular 8/5JOB with an indeterminate bonus (up to
4,000 coins) on quads?

If so, I think I saw those machines at the CAL, on the lower level,
where the FPDW USED to be. Perhaps they've been downgraded or
replaced, as this was a few months ago.

I've seen it two places in the midwest recently; Jumer's in Rock
Island, IL in $1 and Dubuque Greyhound Park & Casino in Dubuque, IA
in $5.

I just started playing it and have put in only one short 4 hour
session at Jumer's and was down a little. Nonetheless, its still
quite a rush when you get dealt trips during SW mode!

By the way, can anyone attempt to calculate a variance on SW? I can
figure it for "regular" and SW modes on their own, but I'm not sure
how the two would be combined. Also, does anyone know if the overall
return of the game takes into account the fact that if you hit a SW 4
of a kind you don't get to play out the rest of your 10 hands?
