If so, I think I saw those machines at the CAL, on the lower level,
where the FPDW USED to be. Perhaps they've been downgraded or
replaced, as this was a few months ago.

I think you are a bit confused about Shockwave. You hit a quad and you get
the next ten hands in Shockwave mode. Hit another quad for 4000 coins in
Shockwave mode.

The full-pay game is 1-1-3-5-8-12-25-100-800 for 99.6%. The Wizard talks it
up and 5-card has all 6 paytables.

The last fullpay Shockwave is saw was at the River Palms in Laughlin. They
had stand alone and Game King options in quarters. But RP has stung alot of VP
lately.

The Shockwave games (and the other VP machines on the north end of the
upper floor) are gone from River Palms (RP) as of last week if not
earlier, replaced by slots. Most of the good machines are either near
the former Keno area on the south end of the upper floor (FPDW, bonus
poker with a progressive, and other games), or are downstairs where
Winners Wharf was. There's no longer a Winner's Wharf promotion; it's
replaced by a $250 bonus if the player gets three royals within a
month at any VP machine. I believe the RP page on VPFree is up to date
on all of this.

If someone cares (my mother in law would care), the bingo parlor by
the good coffee shop has moved, and is now a showroom for a magic show.
