Weird Dream Card game

I went to the Palms last week to meet a friend and while I was waiting I noticed a weird Dream Card game in the high limit room.

It was a 9/7 Bonus Poker game. Not Double Bonus, Bonus. And it wasn’t bogus Bonus either; it paid 10 for two pair.

That’s a return way over 100%, right? Sounds great!

Not so fast. The help screen stated that the Dream Card feature came up with a much reduced frequency. I don’t recall the exact percentage but I think it was in the high teens.

Just a heads up to be very careful out there and double check everything before you play.

​Dream Card games with seemingly high pay tables are becoming quite common. I’ve seen them at The Orleans and Santa Fe The frequency, however, is only 17% You’re probably better off playing slots
