What casino resorts in Illinois or Indiana would you recommend for a weekend getaway? We usually play .50 or 1.oo 1 play machines (JOB, DDB, BP, or NSUD) The room is very important to me as far as cleanliness and a comfortable bed. My husband golfs, so that would be a plus. A great buffet and/or restaurants would also be a plus. I also love shopping. We live an hour south of Chicago.Thank you in advance for any suggestions. Evelyn
Weekend getaway
I would recommend Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City. The rooms are very clean and there is a great steakhouse (William B's). Blue Chip has excellent games at the dollar level. I do not golf, but I am sure there is a course in the area.

Also, if you have a B-Connected card you can probably get a room deal. Just call and ask for a host. The Prime Outlet shop are about a mile away.
