As reported there are 24 machines at the Edgewater offereing FPDW,
Joker 646 (4000 RF), 10 & 7 Double Bonus plus double double bonus.
The 12 slant tops at the top of the escalator have sharp graphics,
comfortable seats but are excruciatingly noisy. The 12 uprights
(with same games) can be found in the southern part of the casino and
for the most part it is a much more pleasant experience for the
ears. There are six (3 back to back with 3) in the southwest corner
and another six (also 3 back to back) in the south central part of
the casino. There was no problem finding a seat on these even on Thursday evening
(promo night) or on Friday evening or this Saturday morning. However
I do have a problem with the comp accrual. After about $4000 of play
my comp account was at $1.65 -- which may have been what it was
before starting play. I have put the issue to the host office but as
of the time I left Laughlin an answer had not come forth. I do not
know if this problem is unique to my account or all who play the 100%
games. So check your account before & after play and I'd appreciate
a post of your results.

So how do get your comp and free-play balances? I guess we need a PIN now.
Those slant-tops and the newest platforms all have volume controls. Trouble
is the lowest setting is still pretty loud. There must be some internal
master control. You would think the lowest setting would be "mute".
It is possible these games are excluded from earning comps and free-play
since that is what the signs could be implying. I thought "excluded from all
promos" might just mean the Grand Finale on Labor Day the 3rd. Triple points are
featured and also maybe a "hot seat" promo 8a-8p. Details are not forthcoming
from the boothlings.
So what does Joker 646 mean? Those new chairs are comfy. I had a bank of
uprights to myself for my three hours of play this week.
