As reported there are 24 machines at the Edgewater offereing FPDW,
Joker 646 (4000 RF), 10 & 7 Double Bonus plus double double bonus.
The 12 slant tops at the top of the escalator have sharp graphics,
comfortable seats but are excruciatingly noisy. The 12 uprights
(with same games) can be found in the southern part of the casino and
for the most part it is a much more pleasant experience for the
ears. There are six (3 back to back with 3) in the southwest corner
and another six (also 3 back to back) in the south central part of
the casino.
There was no problem finding a seat on these even on Thursday evening
(promo night) or on Friday evening or this Saturday morning. However
I do have a problem with the comp accrual. After about $4000 of play
my comp account was at $1.65 -- which may have been what it was
before starting play. I have put the issue to the host office but as
of the time I left Laughlin an answer had not come forth. I do not
know if this problem is unique to my account or all who play the 100%
games. So check your account before & after play and I'd appreciate
a post of your results.
Now to my Halo: I started my play at the RP to put on 250 points.
Caught the deuces within a hundred hands or so. A few hundred hands
later I was dealt a natural (no deuces) king high straight flush
(this was a first for me). Cracked it and nailed the the "Big Boy."
An hour later the wife and I were putting on 50 points (200 hands) on
her card to go for the restaurant rib deal. Caught the deuces twice
again. We were wearing the Halo. It took a substantial tarnishing
the next day at GN on the DDJ.
