Watch out for Charlie's mistakes

I signed up at ACW on June 8 and played a bit. I wasn't able to get back there until sometime in July so I blew the chance at 3X cashback. I couldn't find the card so they printed me a new one. I used this card when I went back, once or twice a month. I was letting the points build to pick up the cashback. I did wonder why I stopped getting mailers, but since they are on the other side of town from me I didn't care that much.

I was there Friday, played the progressive 25c DB for a while and went to check on cashback. The points total looked really low so I also was going to check that.

The boothling got really confused when I showed her my ID. Turns out that in July I was given a card belonging to another Bill Coleman and have been using that ever since. Unlike every other casino in this town they "have no way to have the card be for Bill instead of William". So they must have printed a card for the first person named Bill they found, disregarding the information on my ID.

They had me fill out a form so they can "research it and determine which play was mine and which was the other guy's". Yeah, right! I should expect a call within "a couple of weeks".

Let's see. They are putting in a new card system that, at present, doesn't show points or countdown, will have much reduced cashback for VP, will call me by a name that I do not use and they are so careless they let me build up points and cashback for someone else. They are also apparently reducing their FP inventory. I'll be sure to go there a lot more often in the future.

If you have a common name, better check to make sure the card you are issued is really yours.
