Went to Hard Rock this morning to play out my free play , but instead I
sat around for an hour, used my dining voucher, and went home.
This is because when I stuck my card in the machine, I got the welcome message and then a notice saying "retrieving records". I asked a minion about it and she found that all my information was in order on the casino computers, but the machines failed to "retrieve". I ate and then tried again about a half-hour later, with no luck. A quick trip around the casino yielded a couple of others that were actually playing even though the screen read "retrieving records", which I felt was folly since there's no confirmation that my points are being counted. So I went home.
Thing is, although I'm not a $7500/day player, today was the last "Rock the Slots" day for extra cashback bonuses. I wonder if any of you whales got shut out as well? Is there going to be compensation?
