We recently bought a house in the greater Reno area. For the time being
(12-18 mos) we will be maintaining a residence in both NV and our home state
before moving here permanently.
I am looking for some info/advice on whether to remain a visitor or switch
to being a local as far as casino slot clubs go. Do locals get
weekly/monthly FreePlay?
Any insights welcome. Thanks to all.

at peppermill, you get roughly the same amount of bounce either way,
but if you're a local it's divided up into weekly chunks while if
you're a visitor it's in larger monthly chunks. (this is what my host
has told me; it also reflects my own experience.) unless you expect to
play very frequently, the monthly bounce is more convenient.
i'm not sure about other properties, but i seem to recall that
atlantis works the same way.
