warning - Rio/Harrahs computer glitch

Sometimes while playing at the Rio (and possibly this is happening at Harrahs
too) if you get points on machine A and then move to machine B, the points
won't show up. To make sure you don't lose points, do the following. After
play on machine A, insert and remove your slot card 4 times. At this point
you should now see the total of all your play on machine A. Then move to
machine B.

I have had this problem show up at Harrahs, when I went to the slot club they
didn't find any record of my play (which was something like 800 points),
since I had just exited from machine A without putting my card in and out 4
times. I then went to a nearby machine, put my card in and out 4 times, and
then went back to the slot club, and my points showed up.

At the Rio on my recent trip, after playing on machine A I went to machine B,
put my card in and out 4 times on machine B, and my points did NOT show up. I
put card back into machine A, put my card in and out 4 times, and points now
showed up. Moving to machine B the points were now still there.

Since Harrahs/Rio has low cashback and gives bonuses for reaching certain
daily levels, it is very important not to lose points.

Therefore, always put your card in and out of the machine 4 times before you
change machines, just to be on the safe side.

The slot attendees claim that points will "catch up" and are being computer
delayed, but this does not seem to be the actual case.
