warning - problem with points at Harrahs Vegas

Harrahs Las Vegas has added some new machines in their video poker area (on
other side of keno lounge). Unfortunately some of the new machines have a
intermittent problem with recording your points! As you play it looks like
your points are recording properly, and sometimes they do. But sometimes the
points vanish!

Today I played 23 points, pulled my card in and out 4 times, and the 23
points registered fine.
Then played 91 more points, and pulled card in and out 4 times, then 10
times, etc., and Woops - points vanished.
Played 1 more point. Pulled card in and out 4 times, and now it showed I
had 24 points.

Called supervisor over who determined that 91 points had vanished, but
couldn't determine why. Slot mechanic couldn't find fault.

The thing is, this happened to me a few weeks ago on 2 different machines
(also new) in the same area! At that time a supervisor made a point
adjustment, but wouldn't adjust the right amount so I lost at least 300 points
(probably more).

A friend of mine had the same thing happen on the new machines in this area.

Anyone playing in this area should write down points before removing card,
and if they do not show up after 4 pulls of card in and out, contact supervisor
immediately.

If you do a test, as I did, be aware that just because it works for a while,
that doesn't mean that points won't disappear later on the same machine.

This is a serious problem and since neither 2 supervisors nor slot techs
could find the source of problem during my complaints, it is probable this will
continue until more people complain.

If you have had or in future have this problem, please contact this
supervisor, since she is familiar with the problem I had:

If you had this problem in the past, please email her at least to help them
to realize this is not a one time event.
