Post from night.... "true "pro job" there isn't even a trace".

Exactly. Sometime I see these "pros" bust in, take off their jacket, punch a couple hundreds and play

at such a fast pace it signals, "I'm a pro" to all. Their business like 100%, don't bother me attitude. I'm gonna take the casino for a ride. It's like their first rodeo.

Regular players don't like intimidation from these players who do cause some tourist players to

complain about such other customers. Thus, the jerk pro, not only appears to take $$ from casino.

but harasses paying customers, who do complain sometime. The result, casinos remove playable games sooner.

No, I think playing fast like a jerk makes you a jerk.

I've seen the guys you are talking about...make a big deal about their 'arrival', clearing out chairs, taking off their Ray Bans, becoming 'one' with the machine, and then honor the machine with their presence. I think the most annoying thing is the very loud slapping of the deal button so that everyone knows they are super-skilled Pros.

What I most enjoy is watching them miss easy plays because they are spinning so fast.

"No, I think playing fast like a jerk makes you a jerk. ;)"

Witnessed a kid (male twentysomething) playing two 10-play, $1, NSUD at Harrah's-NO recently. Played very fast for several hours. "Idiot savant" fast. He played so fast I couldn't tell how accurately he was playing. And I have no idea how he did in terms of winning/losing for the session. I did notice he had $3k+ credits on both machines at one point. Couple of hours later one machine was down to $8oo+ while the other was still $3k+.

I have no problem with someone playing fast. If they're accurate, why wouldn't they want to optimize time at the machine.

Of course, the ones who bang away so hard, that you might think they're instead playing "Whack-A-Mole", are completely obnoxious and a real nuisance to play beside.

As far as the "kid" noted below, it's not his speed that makes him a jerk. It's that he's monopolizing both of two very desirable machines for the sake of a 20% gain in coin-in. That makes him an utter jerk.

I also witnessed the "kid' playing 2 machines. He did not hit the buttons hard, it was sort of like watching someone play the piano. There were one or two empty machines the entire time I played so he was not preventing anyone else from playing so I think we should reserve judgement on calling him a jerk.

I talked to another player sitting next to me and she said he had been playing for hours. She could not believe he was playing accurately. Well after I got my 5000 tier points I was ready to go back to my room for the night. He was still playing so I asked why he was putting so much money through. He said to generate the offers and next he said he puts 5 million through a month.

Now I guess I am a little stunned by this amount so I say you must be local to play so much a month. No he says I fly in twice a month. Now for fun let's assume he has a slight edge with the free play coupons and calculate his Kelly bankroll.

I was also invited to the Take It or Leave It game. There were 25 briefcases with one on a table by the game show emcee.and the others held by Harrahs employees instead of the usual super models. I told my wife that I had a chance because there were very few entries in the drum and they were picking 25 people. The top prize was $5,000 and the minimum was $250. After they called about 12 people they called me and I picked case number 20 which contained $2,000 so I really enjoyed the game.

I have one more item to share. After getting my money and another beer I decided to watch the rest of the game because the $5,000 was not yet picked. Closer to the end with the $5,000 still available a man selects his case and waits to see it open. The case opens with $250 showing and the man instantly gives a dismissive wave of his hand. My wife and I just thought this was so funny. We both practice our dismissive wave and try to use it as often as possible as our private joke.

Can't wait to go back to NOLA!

I wonder who bothers most people the worst. The fast button basher that's been described or the player that hits the max play button which goes ding, 5 times EVERY hand & then lets the machine count EVERY coin of the payout. I especially luv sitting by penny slots & the guy/girl that hits a coupla hundred $ payout, then lets it ding for the next minutes (or more). I know my answer.

That sounds a lot like Frank Kneeland. He looks and acts much younger than his true age. He is also, rumor has it, the fastest video poker player alive. He is so fast he's embarrassed to talk about it.

Oh with out a doubt the "dingel-berries" as I call them...... Max play...ding...ding... ding... ding.. ding.....(repeat forever!!!)

A close second is the person who plops down beside me and is playing "unconscious"....no strategy what so ever and hits the progressive Royal that I've been working on for hours........ .....only thing that makes me feel better is the fact if they play like that all the time they'll soon give all of that back.

I, for one, am not buying what was reputed to have happened in NOLA.

For a lot of reasons it doesn't sound to me like Frank Kneeland. I'm not going to go into details, but I know him better than most of you do.

Last time I played at that casino (November 2014), I believe the Ten Play machines were spaced out every other machine. It was virtually impossible to play two Ten Play machines at once

When I played those machines I could get around $20K per hour through. Let's say this speed demon played $50K per hour. It would take 50 hours to play the reported $2,500,000 per trip --- and he's supposed to make two of these trips per month. Really?

Also, in NOLA, many players who primarily play the NSU Ten Play machines get no-mailed. It seems really unlikely to me that they'd make a special offer (including out-of-town airfare and plenty of cash to make up for the less-than-100% shortfall in play $5 million a month) for a player to play these machines extensively.

I suspect parts of story are approximately true. But in totality, there appears to me to be many things that aren't believable.

In the high limit area at NOLA there are six machines next to each other that have 3/5/10 play with NSU on each of them. I have seen the young man play 2-10 play NSU games at the same time at lightening speed for many, many hours. I saw him in Dec. and in Jan. 2015 at NOLA. On one occasion he had started at 6:00 a.m. and was still going strong at 4:00 p.m. During that time frame, I took several breaks for food and bathroom breaks!
