VPW: A comment...

I congratulate Bob Dancer & Co. for a very helpful product. I have used it quite extensively
and have found the "Bankroll tool" to be quite helpful and informative.

<smile> Now to get a bit picky...

The QC on this product appears to have been not the best. I am on my second updated
version and am a bit frustrated that the "bug" that I reported on my 1st copy was only
partially corrected (in the bankroll calculator). It seems as if when you are doing simulations
with higher paying "machines", like at the $5, $10, and $25 levels, the "system" reverts to
thinking that you are playing at the $0.25 level.

It's a trivial thing, I know, and one can get the results that one wants by simulating the
desired results with computations that use smaller denominations. But, for a "nice" product
as this seems to be, one would think a bit more attention could have been paid to the QC.

(See...I told you that I was being "picky".)

I totally agree. On top of that, it's slow. (Though that may be due to
running it on an unsupported platform [Windows 2000]).

I am on my second updated version...

Where does one obtain an update?

Cheers,

I e-mailed their support address a report about the "bug" that I noticed. They asked me,
in a return message, for the version number of the VPW that I was using. I replied and
they told me how and where to download an updated version.

I did so and the bug that I specifically mentioned was, indeed, fixed. But the same "bug"
was in other places. Obviously they had not checked out all possible combinations that
one could choose, in terms of game and denomination.
