I'm the casino monitor for all of the Laughlin casinos.
To answer your question, I would place your trust in the report.
The initial database for vpFREE2 was created from the the vpFREE
database. At times they were not quite uptodate. Part of the problem
is when a update is submitted, it is not always clear as to what should
be changed. For example, there may be several machines with $1 9/6 JOB
located in different areas. The submitter may only mention that $1 JOB
has been shorted to 9/5 JOB. So which machines? All of the $1 9/6
JOB? Who knows? If is not completely clear, I would post the submittal
to the comments section and leave the inventory intact until someone
specifically post the change. They should also use the vpFREE2 feedback
to submit and not the general vpFREE posting.
It would help us casino monitors if the submitter would specify exactly
what to change from and what to change to. It would be helpful to copy
the machine data from the vpFREE2 database such as:
2 machines in the non-smoking casino near northwest doors in Harrah's
Laughlin <http://www.vpfree2.com/casino/harrahs-laughlin>:
$1, $2 , 5 Coins , 1 Play , Slant-top , TITO
With Games:
99.73% DW44 1-2-3-4-4-10-16-25-200-800 NSUD
99.54% JoB 1-2-3-4-6-9-25-50-800 JoB (FP)
Then say if it is MIA or the paytable has been changed or the machine
was moved, etc. Be clear as to what you are submitting.
I have to give many thanks to both the vpFREE and the vpFREE2
administrators. Very few really appreciate the work they do.
As a casino monitor, we try to do our best... And the pay is not that
great!

I have been looking at the VPfree2 database for Laughlin. Specifically, Harrah's Laughlin. The last time it was updated was May 26, 2009. However, immediately after the update, it was reported that there were changes to the indicated inventory. I am wondering in which to to place my trust...the database or the report.
