VPFree2 Data base

Not that I'm not appreciative of the efforts of VPFree2, but I found
the now defunct VPFree database to be a much better layout, easier to
read, and more informative. Maybe the VPFree2 people who are now in
charge of data updating could use the "old" format? Anyone share the
same view?

One thing they should add is the database blog that the old database
had where it showed the recent updates to the database.

I agree. The reason that they separated all the stuff from the old
format is to be able to sort through the data base, but I really do
not care about searching through the data base.

I would also like the casino data to take a larger portion of the page.

I, also, find the old format much more appealing and easier on the eyes.

Another vote to please bring back the database blog (or keep the old
one current). Thanks.

I too am appreciative of all the effort..
Change takes time to adjust too, but I favor VPfree database so far.

I agree the VPFree database had a much better format and layout.

The layout, function and VP content is very similar to vpinsider.com
which charges an annual subscription fee of $65.00. Using the
advanced features of VPfree2 is an invaluable tool and time
saver for me as a frequent visitor.

While the old database was very useful and easy to browse the new
database is better in some ways. Search function is nice, especially
the advanced. Mobile use on my Blackberry is much better than the
original (although, the old database was fine when I had a Palm Treo).

Hey, quick question...

Will all the VERY useful links be maintained and updated on the old
vpFREE site?

Mac

The Casino DataBase, BLOG and LV Cross Directory are no
longer being updated.

All other (that come to mind) vpFREE links / pages will
continue to be maintained and updated.

There are a lot of discrepancies in information between the two
databases. I assume that they are the result of human error in
manually entering the information and not actual database updates.

Example:

Sheraton Casino and Hotel Tunica, MS
http://members.cox.net/vp_free/G_SHER.htm
http://www.vpfree2.com/casino/sheraton-tunica

The old version has 12 different games/paytables, whereas the new
version has just 9.

I agree. I can't seem to print out the entire scroll box contents....old format was very easy to navigate. Still valuable, though.
