[vpFREE] Tuscany 10X Points Question

A couple of thoughts come to mind. The first one is that the Sunshine
Policy (FAQ 59 et seq)is unrealistic. The reason it exists is to
ensure the relevance of VPFree by attracting discussion. If the
inventory is a total mystery, then there's really no need for a board.
The board is built around for the most part, discussing the casino's
inventory of VP games.

The flaw in that thought is that while VPFree would like to narrowcast
itself to its target audience (recreational players, Vegas tourists,
etc), the reality is that there are many who just lurk here who can
take that information and completely burn it down. The problem is most
posters here don't have the judgment, or in a couple of extreme cases,
don't even care to discuss what's appropriate here, and what isn't.
When they err in not realizing how good a certain play is,
particularly in Vegas ...

I worked in business for many years and saw many examples where new
ideas were met with great success. However, all to often I saw the
people who came up with these ideas became stagnant because they
ASSUMED their success was proof of their talent and they did not need
to evolve their business. Inevitably, those who did not continue to
look for new ways to be successful fell by the wayside.

While VPFree itself is not a business, I find this approach by the
admin to mirror those kind of attitudes. Instead of embracing new
ideas and new concepts he falls back on old and tied rules of his own
making. Just when we need some new ideas for ways to continue the
success of VPFree we find instead a roadblock to even discuss these
issues.

Dick

What a kick! Stick around long enough and anyone can watch Dick bury
himself like this on any and all forums. It's a major part of his life
because it's all related to casinos and video poker--which controls it.

Here we have the anal nerd again trying to corrupt the fabric of vpFREE
simply because his type believe they know more about everything anyone
discusses anywhere, they've always got a better way, others just don't
get it, and how it's plain impossible that others not see their
brilliance.

The problem is, Dick's again getting laid out on the carpet here by
someone he can't control--unlike at home. (Yes....imagine living with
that). He can't accept some things so just like all compulsive geek
personalities, he'll argue until he's blue in the face and beyond--only
here he doesn't win arguments---as often shown by how I mop the floors
with him time and again. It was especially entertaining how Dick thinks
everyone's out to get him as retailiation! HAHAHA! Now why would anyone
EVER try to corral such a think tank!?

Oh...being put out to the IBM pasture and into the early retirement
pool isn't exactly the type person anyone's looking to for guidance on
how to change or improve things, now is it. Ever think....just MAYBE
the admin. has a talent you wouldn't expect?

I WANT SOME DICK RESPONSES....aka, GOOD LAUGHS!!!!!
