vpFREE Lunch

The VFA has been known to buy lunch at the Texas
Station vpFREE lunches for out-of-towners who
don't have any Station points. Don't let this
get around. <g>

Reading about the vpFREE lunch pictures link boo boo
reminded me of
the first time I read about the lunches. I misread
the blanket
invite, and I read it as vp(space) FREE lunch, not
vpFREE (space)
lunch. I thought that was nice of the administrator
to pick up the
tab for anyone that showed up! I wonder if anyone
else read it that
way, and expected to get a free lunch? I guess the
words of wisdom
would apply here: "There is no free lunch", even for
VP players.

I will try to keep this a secret, but it sounds like there is another
option for a free lunch. This was posted on the Las Vegas vpFREE with
an invitation to the lunch tomorrow at the Texas Station: "This is a
Dutch treat, non-hosted lunch with a minimum of planning and
supervision. The administrator plans to attend."

How very nice of the Dutch people to pay for lunch for the VP group!
