I strongly believe that having inductees to the VP
hall of fame is a worthy endeavor and Tom should be
commended for all his time and effort initiating the
practice (which now appears to be designed as an
annual affair). However, shouldn't there be some kind
of doubt or even an unsettling skepticism among other
VP factions as to the validity of choice or decision
by our VPFree group as the SOLE sanctioning body (in
much the same manner as the Nobel Prize committee
electing annual recipient(s) in various fields of
specialization? Just a food for thought.

There are now six members of the HOF, and one additional member
will be added in each of the next four years. After that, a maximum
of one member may be added annually.

However, shouldn't there be some kind
of doubt or even an unsettling skepticism among other

I'm not aware of any skepticism in this regard, and don't feel
that there should be any.

Everyone, from any VP faction or group, is welcome to join
vpFREE and to vote in the HOF elections. It's my belief that
most of the VP groups overlap into one another, and that a
vote by the vpFREE membership is receiving a lot of input
from members of other groups.

IMO, it would be administratively and politically unfeasible to
have multi sanctioning of a video poker HOF. And, bear in
mind that vpFREE members are recognizing and honoring
inductees into the "vpFREE Video Poker HOF", not into
"THE Video Poker HOF".
