I don't know who your mail was in response to, but as one waiting to
join the atlantic City VP group, I am frustrated that ten days after
sending a request to join, it is still "awaiting approval by the group
administrator".

Perhaps it is not very active; at least certainly not as active as thi
sgroup. However, as one who goes to AC frequently, i am interested in
participating in the group. Don't have any immediate question.

I would request any member here that is also a member of the AC group,
to tell me if the group is active or hibernating.

---RELAX!

The administrator of the Atlantic City group does a great great job,
she maybe ill, very over worked at real job or other issues. He/she
does an extremely great job and besides you can always view the
archives to answer questions, if accepted. I'm a NJ guy who goes to
AC, 4-5 days,(minimum 2-1/2 hours - 1 way) per month and I waited
more than 3 weeks for acceptance, so just relax.

OK, I won't say anything more on this subject.

I am in MD and go frequently to AC, about the same level as you do.

It is fascinating to see the many people who have come to the defense
of the AC group moderator. She really must be doing "an extremely great
job". I wish I can myself experience it.

If three weeks is the normal time for member acceptance, if this
information is on the page along with the membership request, there
wouldn't be any reason for several mails on this topic, on this group.
