[vpFREE_Chicago] Majestic Star down grades

I was at the Majestic Star properties today and the news is not good.

The following were downgraded on the Majestic Star 1:

All Multi-Strike. (That were not previously trashed!) Note: The two
5c/10c/25c Multi-Strike that used to have good 25c games not only were
downgraded but changed to 5c/25c/$1. (Free-ride frequencies are not good
enough on IL deuces to make these 99% games so I have removed them.)

The three Five Play Multi-Strike.

The three 25c 100 Play.

The four $1 single-line machines in the High Limit Slots room.

The four $5 single-line machines in the High Limit slots room.

The only 1/2% downgrades in the above were that they changed the quad 5-K
and SF from 250 to 239 for 9-7DB and 9-6DDB on the High Limit Slots room
games. The best game now on those machines is the 98.95% version of OEJW.
(Not good enough by my standards to keep in the database.)

The next lowest downgrade was from 99.45% to 98.80% for BDW (9-4-4 to
13-4-3) on the 100 plays. Some 2%+ downgrades as well for BDW as the
Multi-Strikes have gone from 9-4-4 to 10-4-3 (SF/4K/FH).

All other downgrades over 1%.

I have removed the above from the database. I also was able to determine
that the progressive feed rate for the thirteen machine bank in the center
of the VP room is 0.8% (1c per $1.25 hand.)

Thank You (???)

This saddens me because I often played (and carried strategy charts) for
Multi-Strike 25-12 DBDW.

I will complete the database changes after I take a look tomorrow and
indicate "pending" now.

I was at the Majestic Star yesterday. The remaining good 100-play and
Multi-Strike machines were turned off. I spoke to the slot manager about the
downgrades. She said that they were going to reduce the pay scale on EVERY
machine that was over 99.5%. She said that there are still many good plays
because many of the machines were close to 100% and we are only cutting the
pay schedules by .5%. I told here that I was not familiar with pay scales
under 99.5% but I was quite sure that the machines that I wanted to play
were reduced by about 1%. She assured me that I was wrong

What I find really annoying is that I watched the slot techs downgrade the machines and was told the pay tables have NOT changed. After that I asked several of the other slot techs who said they "couldn't talk about that".

I'd like to know where the machines close to 100% are located.

The two multi-strikes shown below previously had the 99.96% version of DBDW.
These two machines were turned off again yesterday and I can guarantee they
will not be reinstating that game on those machines! (My guess is they will
go back to 5c/10c/25c instead of 5c/25c/$1.)

Since the slot techs when given a hard copy of what to reset pay tables at
includes the correct ER to the 1/100 of a percent, we know that they are
full of it.

Sadly, there is now no multi-line game under a $1 ($5 per line) at 99.2% or
better in the Chicago Area anymore.

By the way: The Majestic Star properties were something of a ghost town
yesterday despite the fact they had a free $5K (No chance they got 1K
players to change it to $10k) slot tournament.
