A couple of months ago the new vpFREE Casino Monitor program
was announced asking for volunteers to adopt casinos and actually
update and maintain the individual casino DataBase pages. This
came about because it is inefficient for me to try to update the
inventory of casinos that I have never visited. It's a
frustrating and time consuming job to update the inventories for
several hundred casinos based on second hand reports that
sometimes aren't too clear. OTOH, updating a few casinos based on
first hand observations isn't that difficult, and should provide
more current and accurate data.
So far I'm pleased with the results of the Casino Monitor
program. The program is now being expanded to include all casinos
in the DataBase including Las Vegas, Laughlin and Reno. I am
hoping that by 1 JAN 2007 all casinos will have a Casino Monitor.
At that time any casino that doesn't have a Casino Monitor will
no longer be updated in the vpFREE DataBase - on its individual
page or on its Index + Summary page. I will continue to make
updates to casinos without monitors until then.
Maintaining and updating a DataBase file isn't that difficult. If
you can send an email, know how to copy and paste, and visit a
casino at least once a year, then you're qualified to be its
Casino Monitor. You can remain completely anonymous if you'd
like.

Casinos that need a Casino Monitor have a "No" in the Casino
Monitor column of its Index + Summary DataBase page. If there is
a "Yes" in this column, the casino already has a Casino Monitor.

Monitor.
