In vpFREE Message # 60807 (appended below), a retrenchment
in individual casino DataBase coverage by me was announced.
Volunteers to adopt individual casinos were solicited and I've
received an indication of interest to maintain the individual
DataBase pages for the Detroit casinos.
It would be nice if we get additional volunteers to adopt and
maintain DataBase pages for their primary casinos. It can easily
be done in a vpFREE File Directory or in the adoptee's web
space, in plain text or html.
The basic procedure would be to first copy the existing vpFREE
DataBase page for the adopted casinos to your own webspace or
to a file in the files directory of the appropriate vpFREE Yahoo
Groups regional homepage. It is then your responsibility to update
using information posted to the regional forum or the main vpFREE
forum supplemented by personal visits to the casino if possible but
not absolutely necessary. Contact me privately for additional details.
VP game inventories for all casinos will continue to be updated by
me in the BLOG and on the Index and Summary pages, but the
detailed DataBase pages with machine locations, number of machines,
slot club and comp information will no longer be updated by me.
The posting of trip reports and updates are more important than ever.

Subject: vpFREE Changes - DataBase Coverage
In an effort to downsize the time I spend on vpFREE, effective
immediately:
1. Only the Las Vegas, Laughlin and selected Reno individual
casino DataBase pages will be updated by me in the future.
2. The "Best Games Summary" on the "Index + Summary" DataBase
pages will continue to be updated for all casinos in all
regions.
3. Members are encouraged to adopt one or more of the casino
DataBase pages that will no longer be updated by me, and
maintain it on there own web space or in the files section of
the vpFREE homepages. I'll link it to the appropriate "Index +
Summary" DataBase page. Interested volunteers should contact
me privately.
4. Everyone should continue posting trip reports and DataBase
updates for all casinos.
