I am planning a VP trip from Houston in the next couple of months.
Where are the best places to play VP within a 2-4 hour drive of Houston?
Which flavors of VP are best in Louisianna? Can full pay tables be
found? In looking through the casino database, it looks like most
games start at $1 and up. What kind of bankroll would you recommend
for a 2 day gambling junket? All advice appreciated.
VP Update needed
About 2.5 hours away from Houston is Lake Charles, Delta Downs across
the border does not have VP anymore. I would recommend Laubaurge de Lac
if you are a dollar player if not stick with Isle of Capri. Nothing
over 100% can be found in Louisiana. There are 99%+ ex. NSUD and 9/6
JB. I have had good luck at the 25 cent triple plays at Isle of Capri
they do have them in the NSUD and JB variety. If you play the dollars at
LDL you will probably need 2K if you stick with Isle I would take 1K.
