VP trip report - Buenos Aires, Argentina

Linda Boyd, I would advise you to avoid.<<

Let's see--you'd find me milling around a casino looking for the non-existent slot club so I could get started on 7/5 JOB. At least I'd be easy to spot; the one with the bloody ears and empty pockets.

Still, I'd love to visit South America--a friend spent several months sailing there (Pacific Ocean side, though) and said it was beautiful.
Really enjoy your posts, George. Linda

We were in Buenos Aires in January 2006 for about 12 days. Made one VP trip to the riverboat late at night. The casino was very crowded. Played 6/5 DB and lost 100 pesos (about $33). The city is huge (I think about 10 million people) and is active 24 hours a day. Dinner at 10:00 pm then on to party. People were very friendly, food great, wine good, but as previously stated you need to be careful. Mike
