How I miss those days. Time was when every casino had a tournament with a good positive overlay. At one time you could find a one-day tournament for every day of the week & the play cutoff times would extend into the wee hours. Those with staying power would not go to sleep till they had taken their shot at high score on the last session. Of course this was unfair to the early high scores but that's how some of the tournaments were run. Same goes for the daily blackjack tournaments which used to happen every day of the week.
