VP Tournaments in Reno?

I played in one at the Peppermill a year or so ago. It was double bonus but
they did not let you know what game was going to be played, I guess so you
could not bone up on strategy. I was there while another one was played later and
it was Joker's Wild. I won half my entry fee back and there were bonuses for
Royals. Hope this was of help.

The bonus for royals is interesting. Since you should be playing for
a high score (variance is your friend and everything you do to
increase is even friendlier) having a bonus for royals should move you
towards draws for those even more.
