What were the high scores for the top few prizes. When I played my
session at 8pm a person hit a royal. So just curious if anybody got
that lucky in the finals.

No one hit a royal in the finals...the winning score was 2600 something
(maybe 2625) and the lowest winning score was something like 2250...mine was 2185.

That was the first tournament I was ever in I enjoyed it and would do
it again if they have more in the future.

My only "suggestion" would be to not allow people to stand directly
behind the players. I think there should have been a buffer of at
least a few feet. I found it a bit distracting when somebody would be
talking right behind you. I mean within inches behind you.

I thought that was really annoying, too. First round I was sitting next to
a guy who was getting non-stop advice from a friend. I'm pretty good at
tuning out background noise, but these people were literally hovering over you.
I've played in tournaments in Vegas and they usually have an area that's a
buffer between players and observers/friends. The Sun doesn't seem to enforce
that, though, because I've played in slot tournaments there and people do the
same thing you saw at this tournament. Tournaments are fun, though, and I
usually take advantage of them.
