VP tournament @ MSS

I participated in a VP tournament at MSS in January (actually they held it at the CAL). It consisted of a 20 min. session on two consecutive days. When you register you will find out your time slots. It was fun but don't count on your VP savy to help much as it is most about "luck" in such short sessions. I think the odds were about 1 in 3 people would walk away with some prize money. I wouldn't rearrange your whole trip around the tournament but if you can fit it in, it would be fun.

I got an invitation for a video poker tournament (free entry, etc) from Main
Street Station at a time when I am planning on being in Vegas anyhow (mid
May). Top prize is 4K, 10K total prize pool. Wondering if anyone has done one of
these before at MSS and what to expect...is it worth tying up my time? Is it
a fun tournament? Well run? Too much downtime for too little reward?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
