I got an invitation for a video poker tournament (free entry, etc) from Main
Street Station at a time when I am planning on being in Vegas anyhow (mid
May). Top prize is 4K, 10K total prize pool. Wondering if anyone has done one of
these before at MSS and what to expect...is it worth tying up my time? Is it
a fun tournament? Well run? Too much downtime for too little reward?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I've done several tournaments at MSS, both video poker, BJ and craps.
They are generally well run (since they do it so often).
There is also a lot of downtime which I like to get my own plan in.
The most fun I had was the craps tourney. Very friendly participants.
The second one was BJ and lastly VP. Less "chatting" in the VP one but the
prizes are good.
