VP tales of woe!

Somedays you just wish you stayed home.

Yesterday, I was at Sam's Town, and the FP 25 cent Deuces by Dunkin
Donuts was staying pretty busy, so I walked around, drank a coffee. I
got on the machine, played awhile, came back and no seats again.

So, anyway, wandered upstairs where I saw a 10 nickel progressive
(Game King I think) was around 840 dollars. So, bored, I played
Triple DB which I don't really have a foggiest clue what correct play
would be.

I started with a ticket from the downstairs 25 cent machine, and then
was on my third twenty, and boom!, pulled a Royal from 3 to royal. I
was like cool, 800 plus bucks until I looked more carefully at the
display. I WASN'T PLAYING FULL COINS IN!! That ticket from the 25
cent machine downstairs was an uneven amount, so not really paying
attention when it finally was down to the last 25cents, I played 25
instead of 50. No problem then, but I forgot to push the button for
max coins again and unknownly wasn't playing the full amount. Gah!
So, I hit a royal and left with a little over a hundred dollars!

And then, last night I was at Cannery East next door, had just
started wearing a jacket because of the change in the weather and
forgot it on the chair for 10 minutes ands someone took it before I
remembered! I checked with security yesterday and today, and no one
turned it in.

It would be nice, since these places have million cameras going they
would give you a hand seeing what happened to something -- but as I
experienced before, it's like pulling teeth to get them to look at a
video for anything but a major crime, I guess. You would think they
would want to look out for customers?

Casinos only use the cameras when they want to. Years ago a casino had a 4K coupon promo. I hit it and my friend wanted to play as well (he had a coupon as well) . Well a few minutes later he got his 4K but the casino refused to pay saying it was my original 4k. iI invited them to check the cameras to show play in between but they refused. Seems that they only care if you give them $$$$
