Without a doubt your best and simplest choice is the charts on the Wizard Of Odds sight-and they are FREE.

I agree with nudge. When you write it down yourself, you put it in a way that's easiest for you to understand, and you may gain some insights along the way.

Here's an excerpt from the Strategy Master 10/6 DDB strategy that nudge linked to:

0.8760 Pair 22, 33, 44
0.8723 TJQK
0.7979 9TJQ
0.7447 89TJ
0.7434 Pair 55 to TT

With a little thought, those 5 lines can be reduced to

open end str w/ HC
low pair

Even though a pair of 2's, 3's or 4's has higher ev than the open end straights with a high card, there can never be a hand where you have to choose between one or the other. So it's okay to lump all the small pairs together, below the open end straights with a high card.

It's a good exercise to go through a detailed strategy like TomSki's and make the simplifications yourself. When in doubt, you can use a program (WinPoker, for example) to see which hand is better, and by how much.

The ones that you write yourself

I agree with nudge. When you write it down yourself, you put it in a way that's easiest for you to understand, and you may gain some insights along the way.

In my strategy, it would be similar to a reduced 9/6 JOB strategy
- low pair
- 4-ST 0G w/ TJ (my lingo is 4 to straight with 0 Gaps w TJ)

Note the "TJ" is the common two cards (common denominator in math speak) in all three decision rules. When I play 9/6 BP deluxe, I have the same problem with the "4-ST 0G TJ" vs low pair. For 9/6 JOB, there is a similar problem and many people choose low pair over *any* 4-ST with no gaps as a strategy reduction technique at a cost of some amount of ev. That helps explain why I would list low pair ahead of the 4 card straight.
