It makes you wonder what she'd say if she DID want to get into a war of
words!

Oh my goodness and shut my mouth.

Whatever happened to competition in the good old USA?

If the market for VP software purchasers is so tiny that one software
package has to trash the other or the future other (vaporware?), then
we really have taken this subject too far.

I practice thousands of hands prior to my Vegas visits. When my
total cost for misplays is calculated at less than 10.00 coins for
all those hands, I really don't care.

About the best I can do is play 2 or 3 thousand hands per day.
Normal variance in the game will well-cover any of the errors I make.
Trust me, the errors I make are not the ones that cause RF's to be
missed.

The simple fact that players are more aware of proper play and
details of penalty cards is enough. These discussions enlighten me.
Any software program above and beyond what I have seen today must
totally serve the "professional" player.

For most of us vacationers and low-rollers who only try to get
discounted rooms and free buffets, maybe we should boycott new game
releases. They go way beyond anywhere I want or need to be.

The "savy" players and the pros make my kind of play much more
difficult because they are so actively trying to punish casinos for
giving them an edge.

No product to sell.
No website to view.
No 800 number to call.
Quarters and dollars available to chase royals.
Can't be concerned with a thoretical loss of 3.054 coins in 1000
hands.
I toke more than theoretical loss on every game I play.

it would be nice if the marketers of these games would put a feature
table together comparing the features available in the top available
games...makes it easy to comare the virtues of each game for the
consumer and would make a lot of sense to the person who really
thinks they have an edge over the competition...

When I plan to print out a strategy after analysis, I use Frugal.
When I merely want an analysis, I use Winpoker.
Frugal forces me to "SAVE" any NEW or CHANGED pay schedules. Winpoker
does not and therefore it is easier to use in this instance.
However, if I seek strategy, particularly on Sequentials, or
separating wild cards from naturals, etc, Frugal is the ONLY program
to use.

Action Gaming may be generating new software with spin poker and other
exotic games. I would seriously doubt that ANY of them will be
POSITIVE games, and therefore should be used purely for entertainment.

Not true. Multi Strike (which will be on the software) is positive at
several casinos when you include cash back and promotions. There is no
software currently that corrects you on this game as you play it ---
although you can practice "Level 1", "Level 2", "Level 3", and "Level
4/Free Ride" separately on any software. No software currently gives you
realistic frequencies of FREE RIDES, so you can experience the swings.

Triple Play, Five Play, and Ten Play (also on the software --- and far
more realistic than on WinPoker) are frequently positive when you
include everything.

Yes the entertainment quotient of this product will be high, but
there'll be significant educational features on it that are found
nowhere else.
