Hi.

How are the cards generated and distributed on VP software programs
such as Frugal and Winpoker? Is it also random.... as it is with the
RNG's on machines ?

I think the answer is ... yes and no. Unlike VP machines that have a
single function and can run the RNG continuously, VP programs must
leave computing cycles available to other tasks. Therefore, they use
a RNG but it gets seeded when you start up and all hands are
predetermined after that point.

Maybe one of the authors will provide more details.
