New member here. I am enjoying the posts discussing the challenges of
vp.I have played for several years and have started working on
improving my play earlier this year. I have purchased the win pro
program a few months ago. I have learned alot from using this,it
certainly has incresed my play on dueces wild and my last 2 royals
have been on FPDW. If anyone could help I would like to find out more
about the following:
1-what is the best use of the variance # for a game?
2-where can I find more info on money management/limits? This has
been an area I have seen very few articles or posts about.
All help would be greatly appreciated---CAF
vp questions
1. Generally speaking variance is an indicator of the volatility of a game.
9/6 jb has a low variance and is not as streaky a game as something like Super Aces which has a high variance. In a game like 9/6 jb you can have a session that is close to break even without getting any of the big hands, in a game like super Aces you will most likely lose significantly without getting the big hands.
2. Money management is a myth. If you play a game that is positive, and play it well you are likely to win money in the long-term, so why do you need money management ?
Other than that it would boil down to what makes you comfortable.
For example … If I lose $60 in a machine I will move to another machine.
Logical , nope.
But it makes me feel better and there is no real downside.
If you have a limited budget divide your money up by the number of days you have.
If you lack control divide your money into smaller chunks for better control.
