VP Puerto Rico Trip Summary

Just returned from 6 Days in Puerto Rico

Visited nine casinos:

Ritz Carlton - Isla Verde
Embassy Suites Tartak St.
El San Juan -- Isla Verede
InterContinental - Isla Verde
Marriott Courtyard - Isla Verde
Condado Plaza - Ashford Ave.
San Juan Marriott Stellaris - Ashford Ave.
Radisson Ambassador - Ashford Ave.
Sheraton Old San Juan - Old San Juan

Each casino had only 4 to 12 video machines (except fot the
Marriott Courtyard that had none). Nearly all were $0.25 - 5 play max
with only a couple of dollar machines either at the Ritz or El San
Juan (can't remmeber exactly which one)

The best paytables were 8/5 ddb and 7/5 J0B and some even worse at
6/5 J0B (may have also been some 8/5 db)> The only exception was teh
Old San Juan Hotel where they had some $0.25 8/5 JoB progressives
where the RF meter was up over $1,800. So being the best play on the
island I dropped a $20 in. Before I could play my first hand, the
woman two machines from me starts screaming: 'I got it!" She got the
royal and the progressive $1,800+ and the meter immediately went down
to $1,000.

Although I congratulated her, I immediatley cashed out having no
interst in playing an 8/5 JoB with no progreesive bonus money
attached.

Bottom line: There is effectively no VP worthwhile playing there. If
there were some in the past they have been replaced by many new one
cent and five cent slots presumably with extremely poor payouts.

Two worthwhile player's club signups are at the Ritz and th El San
Juan.

Ritz gave me and my wife each a $25 MP. I won one and lost one for a
$25 profit.

El San Juan gives you $5.00 FP for signup. They gave my wife and I
each
a $5.00 bill, to use as FP. We each immediately put the $5.00 bill in
our pockets and left.

Thanks El San (you didn't expect us to play your 7/5 JoB, did you?)

Good weather 80+ each day. After three or four days though we ran out
of intersting things to do
