Smoke haters can rejoice --- at least for a while. The VP room
(actually, the entire floor) on what used to be the Trump is now non-
smoking. I visted for the first time since the Majestic conversion was
completed 3/13 (btw, you need to get a new Majestic card to accumulate
points on both boats). As far as I could tell, all the decent plays
listed in the data base are still available. Your cost for the cleaner
fresher air? You have to listen to the incessant whining of angry
nicotine fiends who consider the smoking ban a personal affront.(If
you're wondering why these folks don't just walk across the hall to the
other boat, so am I). It will be interesting to see if the smoking ban
remains in place for very long. Smoking and gambling go together almost
as well as smoking and drinking.
