VP & Me hit a ""Biggie!"

Guys,

Dolores finally felt well enough after her operation, to do a
little "VPeeing", so off we went to Greektown Casino Wednesday.

After breakfast in Rochester, we hit GT at 11:00am. We played
Pick'Em mostly for the first couple hours, until I got bored and did
a walk around the place to stretch my legs.

As I walked by the progressive dollar bar, I decided to try a
hundred on Bonus Poker, even though the Royal was only at $4,o77.
After about the tenth hand in, I threw away a pair of tens to keep 3
to a royal and "BANG!" the other 2 royal cards hit.

Strangely, I didn't get very excited. After a lifetime of gambling,
I've seen everything from big wins ($21,000 on the lottery)to big
losses ( 5 grand in a poker game)and I don't get all that emotional
anymore. I also know with certainty, that ultimately, if I play vp
long enough, the percentage will come back to the norm.

From what my records show, I'm still ahead in a lifetime of
gambling, which to me just shows what studying the games, doing the
math, playing the correct odds, knowing your opponents, being
satified with small wins, and staying calm, cool, and collected, is
the only way to win in the long run.
